In Case study, Customer, G Suite, Google

Reitan Convenience Sweden took the decision of leaving Lotus Notes for G Suite (then Google Apps) in March 2014.

They wanted a flexible solution for their highly mobile employees. G Suite not only supported Reitan with a great platform but also added much cultural value as well as positive work processes for their geographical spread.

Reitan needed a platform that supported “anytime, anywhere, and on any device” since their employees are working from home, on the road, and at customer sites. Google Apps also simplifies the administration for the IT department and give them more control from on boarding new hires to the overall IT usage.

The deployment specialists at Avalon Solutions made the successful implementation and migration of 800 users to Google Apps. The rollout was performed in less than eight weeks.

Our users are extremely happy to be able to work from anywhere on any device, meeting the same interface.  One of the greatest wins with Google Apps for us is that the head office and the franchise stores now easily can share information and therefore work much more efficient together. The enhancement of collaboration, and decrease of administration is appreciated by both the IT department and the company’s management
, says Gustav Almqvist, CIO at Reitan Convenience Sweden and one of the initiators of the change.
